The mountains have always been enticing. There are those who prefer easy short hikes and those who seek tougher challenges. Among the challenges are the Green and White Ribbons, which are approximately 1300 kilometers long.
Green Ribbon: Summer/Hiking. From Grövelsjön in Dalarna to Treriksröset in Norrbotten, or vice versa. Choose your own route, but it must be along the mountain range. The following places must be passed through or to the west of: Torne träsk; eastern tip, Nikkaluokta, Saltoluokta, Jäckvik, Håkafot, Undersåker.
White Ribbon: Same route, winter on skis.
